All: Hi!
I: Hi guys how are you doing?
All: Great.
I : Good I have Sharon, Andrea and Caroline and Jim, now are you ready to do something a little special with me today guys?
All:Yeah!
I : OK cos we've got a load of questions for you - we're going to do the smart-zone questions today; now I have a little box by my side and it has all sorts of random things in it and I'm just going to ask you whichever question I pick out ok? I'm going to give you a name, and then I'm going to ask you the question - I'm going to put you right on the spot haha! Are you ready for this? Andrea, describe your perfect first date?
Andrea: Perfect first date?
I: Yeah.
Andrea: Pretty simple actually, a beautiful restaurant, um with lovely wine and gorgeous food - that seems kinda lovely to me.
I: OK that's cool, that's alright. Sharon - what's the best or worst chat-up line you've ever either used, or heard?
Sharon: Oh God "What would you like for breakfast"
I: Oh really?
Sharon: That's pretty disgusting, I hated that.
Andrea: You shouldn't have said it to him!
Sharon: I know and he didn't go for it either which is just a bit strange. No actually somebody said it to someone else I'm glad it wasn't to me.
Jim: I asked this girl once, I thought this was really bad, I did it for a bit of fun - "How do you like your eggs in the morning" - And she replied "Unfertilised!"
I: Oh very good!
(Jim Laughs)
I: OK that's good, that's good. Caroline, one for you, who's the coolest person you've ever met?
Caroline: Are you talking like, are you talking like famous person?
I: It can be anybody.
Caroline: Well ok, my boyfriend!... yeah my boyfriend.
I: You have to say that.
Caroline: That was really sick wasn't it!
I: OK the next question is what do you always have in your handbag? - Jim? - no I'm just kidding! Sharon?
Sharon: Lipstick.
I: OK question for you Jim, are you ready?
Jim: Ok go shoot, hit me.
I : This is an in depth and deep question which you will neded to think very carefully about before you answer. What's your favourite sandwich filling?
Jim: Tuna and mayonnaise, tuna sweetcorn and mayonnaise.
I: Ah, you see that apparently says a lot about a person, what I couldn't tell you but there you go. What's the best compliment that anybody could pay you, Andrea?
Andrea: You know its going to sound disgusting, if I tell you all this (laughs).
I: Oh no please we want to hear this!
Andrea: If they told me I was a nice person and made them feel better. I don't know well that sounds really sick to me but it would be the best compliment you know.
I: What's wrong with that?
Andrea: I know but it sounds kinda pukey.
I: And finally I've got a special question - I don't know why I'm leaving this to last - what's the best and worst thing about being The Corrs? And we'll have each of your answers out, I'll give you a couple of minutes; Jim you can go first, come on.
Jim: Um...I suppose the worst thing, and its a very small minor thing is the fact that you lose anonymity. The best thing is that you get a great sense of joy and fulfilment.
I: What's the funniest thing you've ever heard about yourself, have you ever picked up a tabloid and just thought "what!".
Andrea: Well Caroline was Welsh in one of them I read one day and I kept it, I had to - she was actually Welsh!
Caroline: There have been so many I mean Andrea has been pregnant; um, and we've been leaving the band, me and Sharon.
Sharon: Oh yeah we were leaving the band!
Caroline: There have been so many
I: Were you going to form your own little splinter girl group?
Caroline: I don't know what we were going to do - go into hibernation or something! (laughs)
Sharon: It was actually such a strong rumour we were getting on a TV show one morning in London and the whole of the show was utterly convinced that myself and Caroline were leaving the band - utterly convinced! And we were left in a situation where you're damned if you do, damned if you don't because they kind of believed it, and we were going "but it's just not true, we're not leaving", you know?
I: Not at all you're still very much together, so we're waiting for the "Best Of" album, that comes to us on the 5th of November, and 29th October is the release date for this; we'll play it now, thanks very much for joining us at Smash Hits, all of The Corrs!
Girls: Thanks.
Jim: Thank you very much.
